The Development Academy is designed to develop players of ages 10 to 13. Most campers at our Development Academy have been playing soccer for 2-3 years or more. The camp format dedicates the morning session to technique training and developing skills that will help players perform at the next level. We emphasize games, strategies, and tactical understanding of match situations in the afternoon.
Our coaches are well trained and will provide a camp that is fun and challenging at every level of play. Our coaches will monitor progress and provide all players with an evaluation report at the end of camp. To ensure proper training our coach to player ratio is 1: 12 or less.
Technique Training includes: Passing, dribbling, controlling the ball, shooting in and around the box, crossing and finishing cross-ins, volleying, fine-tuning faints and air balls and more.
Tactical Training includes: Attacking and defending as a team, positional play, set plays, team shape, movement of the ball, understanding different line-ups, combination plays and more.
We offer a half day (9:30am-12:30pm) and a full day (9:30am-3:00pm) camp option.
All fees include a World Cup Soccer Camp T-shirt, a camp evaluation and a camp memento.
